Sanibel Soap Co. is guided by some simple values.

 

We are ethical, open and believe we can serve our community in our everyday activities. We also believe there is nothing better than making a great product we can sell at a profit. We are a small business and want to keep that “close to our customer” feeling. Our focus is on Beach fragrances. There is a story behind each fragrance/beach we feature. And, living close to Sanibel Island FL inspires us.

 

Here’s how we see that in our everyday activities:

 

Customers First. Our customers deserve the best effort we can give. We will always work to give our customers the best possible service. We understand that buying from a small outfit is a bit of a gamble. We are working to earn your second order as hard as we can. Your first order is very important to your satisfaction. Your second order tells us we’ve earned a place in your home!

 

Amazing Products. We have been making soap since 2009. We promise to only offer the very best formulations we can. That means

• No Parabens
• No Palm Products, oils or derivatives
• No Phthlates
• No Sulfates (SLS/SLES)
• No Petrochemicals
• No Silicones
• No Coal Tar
• No Animal Products, except Goat’s Milk
• No Beeswax
• No Unnecessary Additives

We make everything in small batches. So, your soap is not going to be identical to the one in our pictures. Every batch has the same ingredients as we state, but every batch is unique in its appearance. We always make a good smelling, hard bar of soap cured to last a long time. We ask you do your part by keeping your Sanibel Soap out of water in a soap dish that drains water away from the soap to prolong its usefulness.

Our USDA Certified Organic Body Wash is just that. If we use a fragrance oil in it, we tell you. We do use artificial fragrances in our products. They are phthalate free. And are sourced here in the United States.

Responsible Sourcing. Our raw materials are from United States companies. We insure that the suppliers we buy from are using the highest standards when they purchase raw materials from international sources. We ask. Our Commitment to being Palm Free means we aren’t contributing to the habitat destruction in Asia or the Amazon. We do not do animal testing, nor do we purchase goods that are tested on animals. The only non-vegan product we sell is our Goat’s Milk soap. 

Courtesy. We like courtesy, old fashioned civility. We are aware that every opportunity to be kind, to be fair is contagious. We are trying to do our part by practicing that in our interactions with customers, suppliers and in our local community. We hope you will help us by doing so where you live. In the scheme of things, it comes down to community.

We know we do not offer the least expensive product in the marketplace, We do offer a great product at a fair price.
